One of the most common Christian beliefs is that there is a God. Some members to believe that God is made up of what is called the Holy Trinity, which consists of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit/Ghost. Then here are some members within Christianity that focus their belief on God as one entity alone. It is not uncommon that those that take on this practice of Christianity believe in the Son and the Holy Spirit, but they may take on the belief that these are separate entities to which they address in a different/separate fashion.
Most members of Christianity have a belief system that they follow in terms of sin. The most common of the Christian beliefs is that sin is a part of the human condition. Members of Christianity that take on this belief system tend to believe that, as humans, we are all capable of sin. Furthermore, we commit sin on a frequent basis. Most Christians believe that some of the sins can be avoided, then there are some that can not. Some of the sins that those that share these Christian beliefs believe that eating and drinking are some of the sins that can not be avoided. Some of the sins that can and should be avoided by members of Christianity and beyond at all costs are committing the sin of adultery, lying, dishonoring one’s mother or father, or stealing, just to name a few.
Those that share these Christian beliefs about sin often believe that although we sin, there is a way that we may be forgiven from sin. One of the most common Christian beliefs is that Jesus died on the cross for every one’s sins. So as we pray and ask for God’s forgiveness in the name of Jesus, we shall be forgiven. Many of the members of Christianity feel that even those that do not belong to the Christian faith have the capacity to be forgiven from sin in this manner. A further component of these Christian beliefs is that no sin is any bigger than the other. Although members of Christianity believe that it is against the Will of God to commit those forbidden sins, that we are likely to find in the Ten Commandments of the book of Christianity, those that sincerely ask for forgiveness may also be forgiven.
One of the Christian beliefs is extended to one of the common beliefs of members of Christianity about angels and prophets. This is one of the Christian beliefs in which you will see vast interpretation gaps, depending on which denomination of the Christian faith you ask. For instance, there are some groups of Christianity that believe in the power of legitimate prophets, but prophecy will not be a large practice of the religious congregation. Then there are others that have such strong Christian beliefs in angels that they partake in special prayers in which they pray to connect with the angels of God.
